This team will get a solid defensive end and will have strong offensive and defensive lines which will pave the way for years of success. The bolts ranked top of the league in scoring and offensive production WITHOUT any measurable contribution from LT. Need i mention a 13-3 record and an 11 game win streak. Adding an RB would be good, but it's not going to make the offense better than top 3 in scoring.

BUT, at the same time, the chargers were down to the 4th string NT by the end of the season. They got ZERO pass rush and the loss of Williams really hurt.

Also, if they wait until the 40th pick to get a DT, they will pass up a lot of opportunities, almost every team from 28-40 would have an interest in an NT, but the same comparison for a RB isnt as high. the draft is deep with RB's and the offense has already proven that an RB is a necessary piece but not needed other than keeping 9 guys from crowding the box.

as a very die hard fan, every time i see a pundit write RB at 28, i know that they really dont study a team's needs or what would improve them the most.

You said the Saints Cornerbacks are weak?!? You didn't do your homework. You are a moron. The Saints have one of the best secondaries in the league and I would say easily have top 5 starting CBs -- Greer and Porter. Gee those CBs suck so much they let Peyton Manning throw on them all day. (sarcasm should be noted) Greer's stats are darn close to Revis' and Porter is a great young CB who showed how good he is in the playoffs -- INT against Favre and INT for a TD against Manning. Guess what you didn't look up? That Greer missed 7 games with a knee injury and Porter missed 4 games with a knee injury. The Saints secondary is their strong suit on D and you think they need to add a CB who won't play as a starter for years? Start over. Maybe this time you should do some research and watch some tape.
